Sunday the 13th of September

We had a quick breakfaBy the Waterfall Skógafossst at the hostel and off we went! Travelling along the southern coast of Iceland was unbelievable experience for all of us. The landscape is completely different from what we can see in Poland. Wild nature, beautiful landscapes, waterfalls and finally the glacier! Hjördís – the Icelandic teacher proved to be a fantastic guide! We were amazed by the beauty of Iceland but we also couldn’t wait to meet our Icelandic friends. They came to greet us at the glacier lagoon- it was a great surprise!. Everybody was excited but a bit inhibited at the same time. Everything went OK and we spent the first evening and night with Icelandic families in their homes.
