I would like to introduce myself. My name is . I am 17 years old. I live in a village callled Podgrodzie. My birthaday is on December 6 th which is also a Santa Clause day in Poland. I have one brother. He is 13 years old and he is almost 5 years younger than me. His name is Damian. My mother, Barbara, is a hairdresser and she has a hairdessing plant. My father is a tradesman. His name is Kazimierz. He is very creative. My parents own a big yellow house with a beautiful garden and a small, sweet dog. His name is Rafi.

I have long brown hair and green/brown eyes. I like my dog, colourful butterflies and music. I love reciting poems on stage. I belong to a reciters' group.

My name is Dorota and I'm 17 years old. I live in small village Stara Jastrzabka. I've got an older brother and a sister. My dad work as a turner and my mom takes care of the house and our little farm.

I'm crazy about animals but I have only got one cat and fish. I like horses, too. I still can't ride but I’m learning. My favourite subject is English. I like learning it. I don't understand and I dislike Physics.

In my leisure time I read books, watch films and meet my friends. The best book for me is "The Godfather" by Mario Puzo. I think it is better than the film. As for my favourite movie, it is "Dirty Dancing" and all films about dancing and musicals. I also listen to music. I love songs of Alicia Keys but not only. I like travelling therefore I'm glad I will be able to see a beautiful new place like Iceland.

My name is Justyna Olszanecka. On 25 September 2009 I’ll be 17 years old. I am 160 cm tall so I’m quite a short girl. I’ve got green eyes and long, straight, brown hair. I have two earrings in the lips and one in the nose. I like body piercing very much and tattooing, too, but I haven’t got a tattoo, not yet. I’m a sociable, hard-working and creative person. I like helping other people.

I live in Dębica with my parents and grandmother in a detached house. It is a small town. Dębica is situated in the south-east of Poland. I like my town. There are a lot of parks where we can rest in the afternoons. There are sports facilities: a swimming pool, a skating rink, a stadium and a small place were we can go skateboarding. I go to the secondary school.

Dancing and singing are my passion. I practised modern dance for seven years. For a year  I have been dancing hip hop. I sing at school but not only. I participated in different singing contests and competitions. I’m also interested in sport. I often play volleyball with friends. I like watching matches on TV. I like climbing in the mountains.  Sometimes I go for trips. In the summer I also ride a horse. It is fantastic! In my free time I meet my friends. We go to the cinema or concerts. I love music! I listen to music all the time  ;-) My favourite kinds of music are rock, punk, R&B, reggae.  My favourite Polish bands are called Dżem, HappySad, T. Love, Pidżama Porno,  Kult. Foreign bands: Guns&Roses, Lostprophets, Avenged Sevenfold, Flyleaf, Papa Roach, Metallica,  Sean Paul, Missy Elliot as well as a lot of others. Perhaps one time we will listen to them together...

I like going to school. My favourite subjects are Polish, English, History and Computer Studies. I would like to be a choreographer or to act at the theatre. I would like to study in Crakow. I’m interested in theatre and opera. I like to appear in front of the public.

I have got older siblings -  two sisters and a brother: Iwona, Wioletta and Marcin. Wioletta and Marcin live in Scotland. Iwona has recently came back to Poland and lives in Dębica. I have got a dog, too. Its name is Saba. I like animals.My favourite food is fruit and sweets.

My name is Katarzyna  ( Kate ) Wójcik. I am 18 years old. I go to the second class of high school.

I live in a small village in Poland called Paszczyna. I live in a house together with my family of 4 people. My grandfather’ s name is Józef. My mum, Małgorzata is a nurse.  My dad Andrew is a clerk.  My brother – Szczepan is 10 years old. My house is big and it has a great garden. Not far from it flows a  small river. We have got 2 dogs. One is a mongrel  called Scooby Doo, and the other is a Syberian husky called Ira.

I am interested in a lot of things. I like taking photos very much, listening to music ( my favourite type is rock) watching films. I spend a lot of time with my friends. I love dancing, laughing and relations with people.

I am polite, helpful, an  a bit crazy...

My name is Krzysztof Szymaszek. I'm seventeen. I am 185cm tall and my weight is almost 80 kg. I've got blue eyes and short hair.

I'm interested in football, electronic sports games, fishing and music. My favourite kind of music is trance. I play football twice a week and I go to the gym 4 times a week. I live in village close to Dębica in a detached house. Dębica is situated in the south-east part of Poland.

I have got three sisters but I haven't got any brothers. I've got twin sisters.They are younger than me. Their names are Magda and Karolina. The oldest sister is Monika. She's nineteen. She will finish school in April.

I've got a dog. Her name is Sara. She's eight and she loves eating sweets so she's fat. I love dogs.

My high school major subjects are History, English and Polish. My favourite subjects are: English, PE, History and Geography.

My name’s  Mariola Osak. People usually call me Mari, it’s shorter + easier to pronounce for most of my foreign friends.  I’m 18 years old and my hometown is Dębica in Poland.

My biggest hobby is English language. Every day of my life is full of conversations with people from all over the world. Canada, Egypt, Vietnam, Estonia, the USA are only the examples of the countries where I have made friends. After I finish school I’m looking forward to visiting these countries.

That leads  to my other hobby – travelling. My family helped me a lot to see what the world has been hiding from me.  It doesn’t matter if it’s a bike or a plane. Meeting  new people and seeing new places is what I want from life. My biggest dream is to do scuba-diving or bungee jumping. I would also like to go on some kind of adventure/survival camp.

Next thing I love are computer and console games. I enjoy multiplayer  - I like to take a challenge and/or work together with other players.

I listen to all kinds of music. Trance -when I just want to sit back and chill out and rock when I need to wake myself up ; ) I like action movies, comedies and adventure films.

When  I have a good inspiration I sit, take my pencil and start drawing.  I want to work more in computer graphics and photos, not only pencil and paper.  I’m in IT class so computer is my everyday tool.

I’m very open-minded, I fit in new environment really fast and I always try to help as much as I can (even though I’m really lazy ;-) ).

I’m Rafał Braun but friends call me Karzeł which means  a dwarf in Polish. I’m not of short height, it’s just my nick which I have had for more than 12 years... I’m 18 and I study at Zespół Szkół Nr 2 im. Eugeniusza Kwiatkowskiego in Dębica at IT technical vocational school.

I live in Straszęcin (it’s a village near Dębica) with my mom, dad, sister and brother. I’m interested in computers and different forms of alternative culture. I like RPG and computer games, but I have very little free time. Most my time I spend on juggling and firedancing. I’m a leader of Firedancers Group “Draconica”.

Hello! :) My name is Renata Bizoń. I’m 16 still. I have birthday on October 30th. My hometown is Dębica in Poland. I study at Zespół Szkół Nr 2 im. Eugeniusza Kwiatkowskiego in the class with extended curriculum of Geography and English. I have three sisters Marta(27), Dorota(25), Gabrysia(10) and one brother Sebastian(28). My dog is called Zoran but I say Zorro because he looks like this character. I live in the outskirts of the town.

My  biggest hobby is dancing! I started from scratch in my parish. It was a ballroom dance. Now I prefer street dance: hip hop, looking, electro buggy etc. I attend hip hop lesson with a professional dancer only once a week but I often dance with my friends. They try to teach me break dance but it isn’t successful :D.

I love listening to music. My headphones accompany me all the time. I think music is the best medicine to despondency and is necessary to live.:)

Recently I have begun riding aggressive roller blades. It’s the same as normal rollers but they have two wheels not four and in between they are concave. You can ride on brickworks and tubes in a skatepark. It’s so adventurous sport. I have non-stop contusions and my mum gets angry with me.:P

My other hobbies are snowboarding, basketball, books, films, philosophy, psychology and travelling.

My name is Sylwia Para and I’m 17 years old. I live in Dębica with my family. I have got two younger brothers – Piotrek and Maciek.

I like animals very much and I have got one – a bunny. I love dancing! I used to dance for three years but I had a leg injury and I had to stop dancing... I like music, too. I’m really interested in fashion. I like watching fashion magazines and buying new things (who doesn’t?!) I think it’s very typical for a teenager. I love going to school! My teachers are fantastic and my class it’s so funny! I like my classmates so much!. I also like travelling because I always meet new people and learn about their different, interesting lifestyles.

I hope I’ll meet very nice people in Iceland!
