Today we woke up at 7 AM and after eating breakfast we went to school with other project partners to know each other better.  Then we went to classes and everyone was introducing themselves. Both of the groups had difficulties with pronounciation each others names, but finally we dealt with it. To make it easier we played some games that should help us remember each others names. After that we had lunch, and then we went to classes. Polish students were making some observations how Icelandic lessons look like. When the lessons were finished every student took their partner to get equipment to take to the swimming pool. We then went to the swimming pool and after that we went home for dinner.  After dinner we went to Áróra‘s place and had fun with the others. We played a few games, consumed unhealthy doses of sugar and after all that we took a walk, for an hour or so, and then we went on home.

We had a quick breakfast at the hostel and off we went! Travelling along the southern coast of Iceland was unbelievable experience for all of us. The landscape is completely different from what we can see in Poland. Wild nature, beautiful landscapes, waterfalls and finally the glacier! Hjördís – the Icelandic teacher proved to be a fantastic guide! We were amazed by the beauty of Iceland but we also couldn’t wait to meet our Icelandic friends. They came to greet us at the glacier lagoon- it was a great surprise!. Everybody was excited but a bit inhibited at the same time. Everything went OK and we spent the first evening and night with Icelandic families in their homes.
