Saturday the 12th of September


On the way to IcelandOur journey started when we all met at our schools parking  at midnight. We jumped in the bus and headed to Warsaw. Talking and laughing made the trip shorter than we expected. 

We arrived in our capital at around 4am – our flight was at 7:15, so we still had some time to sit down and chill. although our At the airport in Keflavíkteacher wanted  to rehearse some of our presentations with us, so we cant call it free time. Departure went well without any excess baggage problems, which was the biggest worry for our females. Some of us were flying for the first time so you could feel excitement in the air. The views were amazing, nothing can describe them and no picture can show them. Flying over the Baltic Sea was something nobody can ever forget.

Polish students on the way to Höfn

A part of the Icelandic groupNext Saturday our Polish visitors will leave their home embarke on the trip to Iceland. They will have to change planes in Copenhagen and will arrive in Keflvík at 15:10. On Sunday they will drive to Höfn by bus and the plan is that the Icelandic students will meet them at the glacier lagoon Jökulsár.
The Icelandich hosts have used the last days for final preparations. It is clear that the next week will a very busy one for participants. During the the will be a program at school and the rest of the day will be used to let the guests experience Höfn and its surroundings. We are all looking forward to seeing all of our friends from Poland.
