Wednesday the 10th of March

The Icepo group with the mayor of Debica in his office. Yesterday we woke up early and went to school at 9 am. When we arrived we had work with the Icelandic – Polish dictonary. At 10:45  the Icelandic students gave their presetations about Iceland, and most of us were really stressed out, but it went really well. After lunch we went for a walk around Debica, and met the mayor. Some of the students (including Þórhildur) actually got the opportunity to be the mayor of the town for five minutes, anybody who can beat that? Didn’t think so.

Anyway, then we went to visit a museum (the regional museum), that taught us more about Poland, and its history.

After that we were pretty tierd, mostly of walking around in the museum and town. But what’s bad about walking of some of the calories that we have gained because of the delicious food here? Nothing :)

At six we met up to go to the go-carts. It was really fun and most of us went again and again and again.  But who would have thought that go-carts would be so much exercise? But still so awesome.

After that we played some games, but we were pretty tired after a long day of work, fun and games – so we went home at 22.00 pm, and all fell a sleep silently.

Thuesday the 9th of March

Einar Björn getting ready for doing handicrafts. We woke up really early, most kids at 6:30 (that means 5:30 in Iceland). We were at the front of our school at 8:00 but we had to wait for about 30 minutes for some people who do not know how to work an alarm clock. When those guys showed up we went to the dolls museum. It was really fun, we made roses from paper, took a guided tour around the museum and we got (the Icelandic group) beautiful handmade dolls.

We went to lunch at 11:45, we got really good food at the restaurant. After lunch we went back to school and joined some other kids in English class and we played a lot of games. After the English class Anna and Agata came and gave us some easy quizzes about Poland. We finished school at 14:50 pm.

At 15:00 we went home and got ready for the party at Conrads home. We ate traditional Polish food, listened to a lot of music and played games.  At 22:00 everyone had gotten reallllly tired and went home, after a long day, to sleep.
